Things have been a little busy over here (once again)! I had an absolute cracker of a weekend though. Amy, Tasha and myself had a little getaway in Edinburgh together (well romantic). Burgers, daiquiris, pasta, a pot of tea at midnight and cooked breakfast (not to mention some hilarious conversations) made for a super 24 hours together! Oh, and we bravely ventured into the Edinburgh Dungeons. Shamefully, I was more terrified than the 7-year-old-girl in our group. I did get spat on by some kind of demon - what a treat. A cannibal also took a liking to my teeth. Quite the experience.

Anyhow, I've been meaning to share this jumper for ages. I'm quite obsessed with it actually. It looks perfect with a shirt underneath! These shoes were also an absolute bargain. If any of you are looking for some true bargz head over to Risky Fashion. I think these shoes were about a fiver - incredible, right?!

Well aware that I look like a mystical kinda creature here, emerging from some magical mists... alas, they are just curtains. What a shame.

Ps. Final days to enter my OASAP giveaway!

Paisley Waterfall Kimono | Missguided *
Studded Flatforms | identical at Missguided

Ring | Primark

So, here's the second outfit from the Blogger Edit with that kimono from Missguided. Now, I've got to admit, I don't wear playsuits all that often. They're quite a faff when it comes to going to the bog - let's face it (yeah, can't be shy of such deets!). But for this playsuit, I'm willing to make put up with the inconvenience! The daisy chain detail makes it perfect for layering up with a tee or shirt. Fave playsuit EVER.

If you guys haven't already entered, I've got a giveaway running until Halloween to win a skirt with OASAP. Click here to head to my previous post where you can enter! Hope you all have super-duperlicious weekends!

OASAP have kindly given me this chiffon skater skirt to give away to one of my readers - exciting times! It's one size (up to 40" waist according to the measurements) and comes in this incredible shade of red - well on trend for this season!

All you need to do to enter is follow my blog (you can follow via Google Friend Connect, Bloglovin' or Twitter). Then, take a quick look at the product page for the skirt here and let me know what your favourite colour is - there are tons of awesome candy colours! I think aside from the wine red, the light purple one is my fave.

Good luck :)

Yes, I misled you. This post has nothing to do with me performing the good old 'changing the lightbulb' or even some cray-zay 80s dance move for you all. What a shame. What I'm actually referring to is the awesome shapes of the clobber in this outfit. Urm. Yeah, my titles are really quite something aren't they...

I've been after an asymmetric skirt for a while, so when Missguided approached me to take part in a Blogger Edit, which is all about autumn / winter kimonos FYI, I had to opt for one to style within of my three outfits. It's actually surprisingly comfortable and flattering and the snakeskin effect on the pleather is perfect for autumn. The tee is also ridiculously soft! Nothin' like a baby soft cotton tee - simple pleasures (oh aren't I sad).

The kimono I chose will definitely take me through to next spring - it's going to be ideal to layer up and it looks cracking with almost anything. The waterfall cut at the back is a fab touch too. It's a reeeet old bargain at just £19.99 - plus, standard delivery is just £1 at the mo... it'd be rude not too make a cheeky purchase.

Expect two more outfits including the kimono over the next week or so!

Having received this extremely cool unisex tee from Don't Feed The Bears, I managed to convince my boyfriend to get his fashion blogger awnnn. What a sport! (Although, he was allowed to watch football all day Saturday - guess we're evens now.. eh Matt?!).

Anyhow, as I was saying, this is one mighty cool tee. A bear smoking a pipe alongside a deer prancing about in a forest with some UFOs circling about. That's an illustration and a half. Oh and look at me getting my inner Scot on too with the tartan skirt. It's mega-high-rise... not that you can tell from these photos! Matt's shoes also have a bit of Harris Tweed on them too - even more Scottish.

Hope you've all had a good start to the week!
UK fashion blogger British style blog outfit post Personal style Red Turtle Neck Dress | River Island
Necklace | BHS
Bag | New Look
Flatforms | similar from F&F in White

I had a massive panic on last week trying to find a dress for a friend's birthday do for last Saturday. I'd ordered a couple of options online with the classic 'surely one will fit' attitude. But, alas, neither did! So after work on Friday a rushed into Derby Westfield. With not much dosh to spend and some cash on a River Island gift card, it would have been stupid to look anywhere else!

This red turtle neck number was the most formal looking one, so after trying on a few frocks I ran for the till, as it was the last dress in this style in stock. As red is one of the major colours for AW13 I thought it was ideal (I'm starting to like red aren't I?!). The only thing that bugs me about it is the exposed zip. It would have looked far more elegant without it - sigh! But the high street just loves'em don't they. However, the cut of it hides my drinking belly perfectly ;) Just what you need in a going out dress eh?!

Ps. ASOS Fashion Finder featured me in a Spotlight post yesterday - check it out here! Weee! What babes.
