Now it's post-Christmas, I've got a fair few gift vouchers that need spending. Oh I do appreciate you Christmas (and family!). So I've been on a small spending spree. To be quite honest, I haven't been bowled over with the Christmas / January sales. I've struggled to find a lot of good stuff, hence the addition of a few non-sale items here! But one cat-tastic thing I did could I resist this t-shirt with cats all over it? For seven quid I had to have it!

Let me know if you've found any gems in the sales - that's my inner nosey bargain-hunting self striking!

Hello hair in the face. Yeah, I really need a haircut. And guess what? I just had one. Yesterday I said goodbye to a good 3 or 4 inches of hair and it's left my hair looking a gazillion times healthier and back to it's natural thickness. Having coloured my hair for a good 10 years (-eek!) it was much needed!

I've actually been hankering after this jumper for about a month. I spotted it in H&M for a measley £14.99 and resisted. But last week it was reduced to just £7 - HOW COULD I SAY NO?! This blue colour is a winter perfect pastel shade.

These boots are a real bargain too. They're £13.99 and on top of that Hidden Fashion are currently offering free delivery - wowza! They're also selling PVC midi skirts (in pastel blue, here and black, pink and beige, here) at £13.99 too. Grab one quick if you're wanting to jump on that shiny bandwagon!

It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas (I'm such a cheeselet. What an opening sentence). Our pressies are under the tree, everywhere and everything is manic and we've just bought in a copious amount of winter cider. Plus it's suddenly gone back to being bleedy cold.

Alas, the cold weather does mean we can wrap up! So when this cosy number made it's way to my door, I zipped myself into it. And oh my... this onesie has been saving me a good few quid in heating! It's really soft inside and even has pockets (ideal). The Christmassy print is also bang on. Although this particular jumpsuit is a bit pricey, there are plainer and cheaper options too that you can see here. It's also genuinely incredible quality and is perfect to wear to bed and lounge around in (especially if you don't have a winter duvet or heat just escapes from your house like mine!).

First week of my new job done and dusted! Currently chilling out with a glass of vino and some (... just 12...) Krispy Kremes. Oh sugar, you delight.
Now, I am a lover of a good novelty jumper, don't get me wrong. But sometimes you just gotta avoid the cheese (sadly, I'm a massive cheese lover. Both the food kind and the kind associated with a particularly undeniably catchy but hideous tune). This ASOS jumper is definitely slap bang within the classy chrimbo jumper category. It's also half price (WHUT?!) and is currently in stock in every size so grab one of these sequined beauties quick! You can see more Christmas-tastic jumpers from ASOS here. You might even find some cheese somewhere.

Can definitely tell I'm tired as I'm sure I've spoken about cheese far too much. Off I pop to bed! x

Bonjour new specs! I'm feeling a bit French (?) in this ensemble. Not too sure why, but I think it's in part down to the glasses. They give off a European vibe of some kind. Anyone wanna join me for croissants and croque-monsieur?

I'm craving more houndstooth garbs after wearing this OASAP top for the first time today. Actually, after a little hunt, I'm lusting after these houndstooth trews in particular. They're exactly the same as the trousers in my last post, just houndstoothy and even more fab. Anyhow, the top is a little on the large side, but looks perfect tucked into high-waisted bottoms (couldn't think of a better way to put that haha - oh immaturity).

I've been snooping the shops for the perfect faux-leather skirt for quite some time now. So when this absolute delight popped up on New Look's site for just £14.99 I was right in there. I did think it might be a terror for VPL, but as it's an a-line shape it's pretty forgiving! I'll definitely be pairing it with tights in future though - brrr!

With Christmas Parties fast approaching, I thought I'd collate a little post with some of my current favourite LBDs (with one playsuit for good measure!). I'm a massive fan of a little black number myself! At Christmas they look fab paired with statement heels and maybe a sequin clutch (I've suddenly got a penchant for sequins by the way.. not sure why as I usually hate anything 'glitzy', but let's just embrace it.)

It's definitely worth noting that the River Island dress is now just £40 (WOWZA. Yes please) so grab it quick as there are only a couple of sizes left!

Also, Missguided are offering 20% off today with free next day delivery until 8pm - check the banner on their site for the code ;)! I'm so tempted - eek!

Have a fab Thursday guys! I start a new job on Monday, so apologies if things are a little quiet over here, but expect to see an outfit post soon! Oh, and you can see the outfit I wore to the ASOS Christmas Party here.

Ahh, yes, more cut out boots. I've been on the lookout for some 'smarter' looking ones, if that makes any sense. These Shoe Zone cut-out numbers were just what I've been looking for. They're only £24.99, but have fab detailing like the gunmetal inset at the front and a super handy zip at the back. No more un-doing fiddly buckles for me - wahey! I also wore these straight away without socks as they have no nasty blister-inducing bits inside them! Good one Shoe Zone!

Here's that Persunmall coat lots of you were lusting after from this post. I've heard that the Primark coat (that looks very similar to this one) has a tendancy to malt a little - so does this one! Nevertheless, it lightens up my frequently dark outfits! It's also quite lightweight so perfect for layering over cosy knits.

As for these new River Island trews, as soon as I tried them on I had to keep them. They fit like a glove (... for legs..?!) and even come with a belt. What a  treat. I don't generally dress this smart to be honest - I'm a notoriously casual dresser! But who knows, maybe you'll be seeing me don a top hat and tux soon. Keep your peepers peeled.
