Well hello there! It's been a while since my old mug has graced my blog! I never thought it would happen to me but I had a bit of an outfit post block. Let's not be silly, of course I was still wearing clothes! But I honestly couldn't find the time to set up my camera and tripod, clear this corner of my room (which has been de-moulded may I add!) and get snapping. This may have been partly due to mostly sporting PJs at the moment.

This cardigan is really a neglected piece in my wardrobe, it's one of those things that I'm not sure if I really like, it feels a bit preppy for me, but it was quite a mild day when I took these photos so it provided the perfect amount of warmth!

I'm feeling majorly rushed off my Doc wearing feet at the moment. I had been warned about the impending dooms of third year, but it's become clear that I am going to be flooded by work until approximately June next year. Yay.

Any graduates with words of wisdom or motivation, please send them my way! Nomore doom and gloom!

  1. I'm in third year too, writing up lecture notes in my pjs right now (/massive procrastination!) I find it so hard to stay focused even though its really important!
I'm planning lots of fun stuff for the summer to motivate me, thinking of a trip to NY and Florida, Glastonbury and a holiday with my boyfriend! Lots of work now will be worth it then?

  3. Just to try and organise your time, so that you can define "working time" and "rest time" otherwise you'll get to feel as though it's all-consuming.

  9. I remember 3rd year being an absolute stinker! My biggest tip is to set a cut off in the evenings where you don't work anymore - me and my boyfriend had a cut-off at 9pm and after that wouldn't do anymore work and would do what we wanted to do. I think it helps for your sanity! Failing that, lots of wine x

    1. My cut off is far too early at the moment haha! I think it's because it's so dark it feels a lot later. The wine sounds good.. haha! xx

  17. One of best things I learnt from third year is not leaving everything till the last month. Organising your schedule and revision time is crucial. Also revising with other people on your course if you can is so beneficial. It really helped me going through stuff with others. Builds up confidence in your abilities.

    Love the fur stole!

    1. Yeah I did that a lot in first year! This year I only have one exam in the summer, so I'll give group revision a go then :) xx

  18. I really like the cardigan! Good luck with third year- the only advice I really have is try to stay as organised as possible but ultimately enjoy it as much as possible- I remember thinking third year was so much work and then had a serious shock when I graduated and realised working 45+ hour weeks are a hell of a lot tougher! I'd give anything to go back now- so jealous! xx
