Hieroglyphicy

Super Cosy Tights | Primark

The minute I spotted this dress I fell in hieroglyphicy-love. Well, actually, I initially spotted the grey version. Then, after a quick browse I saw that there was a white one - I had to have it for £13.99. Monochrome again, yes! But I love the print and the fit is really forgiving (much needed when the past 3 days have consisted of a chinese, McDonalds and a trip to the pub!). There's also a pink version if you're a bit more fun than I am!

Ok, I seriously need to stop wearing this necklace. I'm starting to annoy myself by wearing it so much! The other bits of bling I got in this jewellery haul have kind of been neglected due to my love for this box chain number.

As you can tell, this is just a short post today! I've had a couple of days off from doing uni work, so I might commemorate the weekend by cooking some brownies with mini cream eggs in. Sounds good, but I'm not sure how they'll work out. I'm sure I'll post my results on my Instagram though (@RobynMayday). If I don't make them, it's because I've decided to be a slob instead.

Oh and I have no idea what the hieroglyphics mean. Interesting... I could be walking around with anything written on me. Cool.

  3. You know something, I've always been after a dress with hieroglyphics on (sounds weird I know but I tweeted about it last year cause I couldn't find one anywhere). I was obsessed with ancient Egypt when i was younger and I thought it would be super cool to have clothes with hieroglyphs on. AND NOW SOMEONE HAS FINALLY MADE SOME. I'm over the moon about this!! Cute outfit! xxx

  4. Oh hey hottie! I remember learning a bit about hieroglyphics and what they mean in primary school but sadly I can't remember what they mean now. For all your know it could even be your name written all over it, the possibilities are endless! Also, I've just came up with a new product - the bean-dom - and I was wondering if you'd like to review one on your blog? Let me know what you think! x

  10. Love it! You look very studenty! Not that that's a bad thing. Don't take offence. I mean you look effortlessly stylish yet comfortable.

I've never bought anything from Daisy Street but I'm tempted to have a gander now. Do you think their sizing is on the big side with you saying it is forgiving? I'm always dubious about buying online cos I'm a 10 in some places but 12 in others and can even fit into some 8's! Nightmare! x

    1. I've found their sizing varies - much like ASOS or Missguided. This dress was a wee bit on the larger side for a 10 (my normal size) - hope that helps! The jacket is a medium as well, and fits me well as a 10 :)
