wearing double leopard print

The cold weather brings with it some wonderful stuff. Snug nights in, crisp leaves, hot chocolate... and leopard print. Ok, so a slight jump there. But it is the ultimate Autumn / Winter print! So I've been thinking of how can I can wear more of it.  And to go the extra mile for this post, I'm not just wearing double leopard print. Yes - that's triple leopard print. Uh huh.

1) Don't be scared!

Help yourself out on this one and just go with it. Seriously. In my eyes, as long as the rest of the outfit is relatively simple you could go wild and try quadruple leopard or even further (if you can find enough to wear. It is pretty bloody cold so I'm sure that's possible!). Even if you've got some other fancy details in your outfit (like the frilled top I'm wearing from New Look) there's no reason why you shouldn't add some bold prints.

2. Think accessories.

Planning out how to wear a leopard top and coat could be a bit stressful. It would be for me at least. But if you've got a few accessories with animal print, that's a far easier route. Try a bag, like the one I'm wearing here from Love My Soul, with some leopard boots (I'm in mine all the time!). I've picked out some sweet leopard print accessories below to get you thinking.

3. Consider colour.

Finally, take it easy with colours if you're a newbie, or are looking to wear multiple printed items. I love classic leopard colours, so I happen to have a few accessories that pair well together tonally. There are loads of bright and bold leopard prints incredible though. I just haven't got in on the full spectrum of shades quite yet!

So, don't get too caught up in pairing perfectly. For me, I quite like a bit of a disjointed look. Matching the tones of your print can help to bring everything together though - and accessories are a fail safe option if you want to wear double leopard. Now I'm off to buy some more animal print. I cannot get enough of it!
