It's been a long time coming, but I'm finally off on holiday next week. This can only mean several glorious things. 1) Cocktails. 2) Food. 3) Lazing around and 4) Some sunshine in my vitamin D lacking life.

I can't lie, in prep for my holiday out of pure laziness I've been sporting flip flops in the rain quite a lot. Well. Pretty much every other day... I am a little ashamed, as I always used to hate posh uni boys in their jeans and sandals in the winter. But GUYS it's the summer...

These Office sandals from House of Fraser are too comfy to resist even in the all-too-common rains of the British Summer. Totally pretending the rain had never happened in these snaps.

Anyway, I'll be that annoying so and so Instagramming cocktails around the pool next week - so I apologise in advance. But I hear the weather is supposed to be super next week (just my luck!) so enjoy the rays ladies (and lads..?) - be back soon! x

What a cracking weekend! 1) The sun a'shinin. 2) My diet has mostly consisted of cheese and tiger bread for the past 48hrs. 3) We've booked a holiday. 4)I'm getting some tax I've paid back (wahoo!). 

With the sun popping his little hat on we actually ventured a mighty 10 metres from our front door to take some snaps today. A nice break from out magnolia flat I hope you'l agree.

SheLikes has some fab summer pieces in at the moment, this skirt being one of them. It's made of a really lightweight, but not see through, fabric. It's perfect with a basic tee (wow I'm loving basic tees at the moment aren't I...) and is great for smart or casj outfits. It's a total bargain for £19. Enjoy the rest of the sunshine guys!

Oh hey again! I didn't get round to blogging last weekend as a went for an internet-friendz meet up with Amy and Tasha (as I mentioned before!). We went to a safari park and I got told off for feeding a zebra...and discovered that carving a whole roast chicken is more difficult than it looks.

I managed to snap up these incredible Topshop Unique trousers at a third of their original price a little while ago. As you can imagine, their original price actually made me feel a bit ill, even the price I ended up paying was somewhat sickening too. But they're real silk and fit perfectly. I do wish I was a meagre half a foot taller though, as there is no way in heck I'm ever going to be able to wear these sans-heels. But hey, beautiful silky trews are worth it. 

The print on them is pretty bold so I've been wearing them with simple tees and this super-versatile pleather jacket for good old H&M. Feeling a bit 70s - takes me back to last weekend's soundtrack of boogie tunes as we drove through terrifying camels and goats that looked like Spock.
