Making smart casj and casj smart since... well whenever they were invented. I'm a sucker for a tie-front garm. They're contemporary, yet timeless and a bit interesting. Admittedly, they do seem to cause confusion. I still wear this River Island tie sleeve dress three years on (ok, it isn't looking it's best anymore) and to this day it continues to spark conversation.

"Is that a skirt?", "how does that work?" and even "what are you wearing over you dress...?". But I love it as much as I did the day I bought it. So when I clocked this simple grey tee in New Look, for a steal at £8.99 may I add, it had to get in my wardrobe.

This New Look t-shirt has quickly made it's way into my regular work-wear. Loving it with a pair of skinnies and a choker. But it would work just as well with a pair of culottes and trainers. Yes to versatility!

After a quick scour of the web I picked out some of my fave tie-front pieces you can buy right now. From a dreamy Whistles jumper to a tailored shirt at Topshop, through to loungewear from ASOS. I literally want it all 🙊.

Daisy street boots

Also, a big old shout out to these fierce Daisystreet boots from ASOS. So. Obsessed. I have a thing for pointy boots - evidenced here too, with some amazing M&S cowboy-worthy ones. I've seen a few bloggers favouriting them and can confirm they are pretty darn comfy even though they'd best fit a large slice of Dairylee (first triangular thing that came to mind). The stud gold stud detail makes them even better ðŸ‘Œ. I can also confirm they're excellent implements for Monday's. TO KICK ASS. Ok. Leave me alone... I'm trying to feel positive about waking up at 5am tomorrow!
